Built on Experience - Driven by Service
Mark Selleck, owner of Eastern Dredging, believes a great company earns its reputation one customer at a time.
Mark built his previous company from its beginnings in his garage into a business he ultimately sold to a private equity fund. Behind that growth were four principles: put customers first, operate professionally, deliver meaningful value, and continually work to be the best provider in the marketplace.
Today, he brings those same principles to Eastern Dredging, with a clear goal: raise the standard for dredging services and help customers get more from their waterfront.
Customers Come First
Every project begins with listening. Whether you need better boat access, more clearance around your lift, or improved use of your dock, Mark’s approach starts with understanding what you want to accomplish. From there, the team develops a plan focused on delivering the result you need.
Professionalism at Every Step
Professionalism should be evident throughout your experience: careful measurements, clear quotes, responsive communication, skilled service, and thorough cleanup. Mark’s expectation is simple—treat your property with respect and leave the work area clean and orderly.
Value You Can See and Use
Value means connecting the work you pay for with the improvement you receive. By understanding your priorities and clearly defining the scope, Eastern Dredging aims to deliver practical results that make your waterfront more accessible and useful.
A Commitment to Being the Best
Mark’s goal is to make Eastern Dredging the best provider in the market through well-trained operators, effective and efficient equipment, and continued investment in technology. Every improvement serves a purpose: better service, greater precision, and better results for customers.
Meet Mark Selleck
Dear Waterfront Owner,
When I started my first company out of my garage, I knew that building a lasting business would take more than hard work. It would take earning people’s trust—and continuing to earn it every day.
That meant listening to customers, doing what we said we would do, treating people professionally, and delivering value. Those principles helped me grow that company until I ultimately sold it to a private equity fund. They are the same principles I bring to Eastern Dredging.
My first priority is understanding what you need. What is preventing you from enjoying your waterfront? What would better access allow you to do? What does a successful project look like to you? Your answers should guide our work.
I also believe you deserve professionalism from the first conversation through the final cleanup. Too often, customers in marine construction encounter unclear quotes, poor communication, or work areas left untidy. My expectation for our team is higher: measure carefully, explain the work clearly, communicate throughout the project, and respect your property.
You should also feel that what you receive is worth what you paid. That begins with an honest conversation about your goals and a clear understanding of the work we propose.
Finally, I am committed to continually improving our team, equipment, and technology. Being the best provider is a standard we have to work toward every day—and our customers should benefit from that effort.
My goal is for you to feel heard, informed, and confident that you chose the right team for your waterfront.
Thank you for considering Eastern Dredging. I look forward to the opportunity to earn your business.
